Description:  We’ve all heard of the importance of being data-driven, but where can we actually find data that is going to inform our work? This training for beginner prevention professionals is designed to help you access qualitative and quantitative data in your community to gain a deeper understanding of the story your community has to tell. Come learn not only how to access data that already exists, but also different methods that you can use to collect data yourself to ensure that your prevention work is data-driven!

Learning Objectives:

1. Learn to access data that may already exist in your community.
2. Know the difference between qualitative and quantitative data.
3. Know what other types of data could assist you in telling your community’s story.
4. Learn ways to collect the data you need but doesn’t currently exist.
