Bio
Amy Hamilton, OCPS, is an Ohio Coaching and Mentoring (OCAM) Coach and prevention consultant with more than 18 years of experience supporting Ohio's behavioral health and prevention systems. She partners with community prevention coalitions and organizations to strengthen leadership, build organizational capacity, develop sustainable processes, and translate data into meaningful community action. Amy's expertise includes coalition development, strategic planning, community engagement, volunteer management, curriculum design, training facilitation, and organizational development. She is passionate about helping prevention professionals build strong relationships, foster collaboration, and implement evidence-informed practices that create lasting community impact. A highly experienced trainer, Amy is certified to deliver Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid, QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper, PAX Tools, Trauma-Informed Approaches, the Social Resilience Model, and SAMHSA's Prevention Ethics and Prevention Core Competencies trainings. She also supports organizations in applying trauma-informed, resilience-oriented, and equity-focused approaches to prevention and community wellness. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work with a minor in Gender and Diversity Studies from Xavier University and a Master of Public Administration, magna cum laude, from the University of Dayton, where she also earned a Certificate in Nonprofit and Community Leadership. Through her coaching and training, Amy is dedicated to empowering prevention professionals and coalitions to build sustainable systems, strengthen partnerships, and improve outcomes for Ohio communities.
