This session will guide intermediate prevention professionals through the important parts of writing a needs statement, the most effective use of data that paints a visual picture of the need in your reviewers’ minds, as well as provide you with pro-tips to make writing this section of the grant proposal easier.
Learning Objectives:
- Define the purpose of the needs statements in grant applications.
- Describe a minimum of 2 tips for writing effective needs statements.
- Explain the most effective ways to use data when writing needs statements in your grant proposals.
