The Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Training is an interactive 4 day training that provides a deeper understanding of the foundational pieces of substance abuse prevention based on the current knowledge and practice in the field. This training was developed for individuals newer to prevention or early on in their prevention career. It is also appropriate for professionals in related fields who may have limited experience in prevention. The course is designed to be engaging, interactive, collaborative, and will give you the space to apply your knowledge. Participants will practice their skills throughout several activities based on different real world experiences and case scenarios. While the case studies later in the session focus primarily on preventing substance use, the approach to prevention presented in this training is applicable to other behavioral health issues as well!
You must attend all 4 days.
This training has a max of 25 participants.
Training Fee: $75.00
