Event Summary
The Prevention Supervision Collaborative is a virtual group that will help to improve your prevention supervision skills, build new skills, and create a stronger network of prevention professionals. This group will meet on the first Friday of every month (Feb-June) from 9am-10am, each week being a different topic. CEUs will be offered in PS1: Personnel Supervision & Program Management as well as PS2: Administration & Consultation. There will be 5 training sessions but you will only need to register once, you may attend as many or as few as you'd like.
In order to attend:
- You must have your OCPS, OCPC, or CHES
- You must be currently providing prevention supervision, or plan to within the next 6 months
- Make sure to register!

Topic: Enhancing Supervision Practices in Prevention: Models and Implementation

This interactive training is designed for prevention professionals supervising others, offering practical knowledge and tools to improve supervision practices. Participants will explore various modes and models of supervision, discuss their relevance in prevention work, and develop a personalized plan to integrate these approaches into their supervision practices. With an emphasis on discussion and real-world application, this session provides a collaborative space for participants to share experiences and strategies.

Topic: Supervision Best Practices: How to provide prevention supervision
Facilitator: Katie Wolf

This session will equip prevention supervisors with the tools and knowledge necessary to effectively support and guide prevention professionals. Participants will define and discuss the roles and responsibilities of a prevention supervisor, and will become familiar with best practices for supervising prevention professionals throughout their credentialing process and their career. Don’t miss this opportunity to collaborate with other supervisors in the field, access helpful tools and resources, and learn the ins and outs of how to effectively provide prevention supervision!
