Prevention Supervision Collab: Stronger Together: Fun Team-Building for Supervisors

The Prevention Supervision Collaborative is a virtual group that will help to improve your prevention supervision skills, build new skills, and create a stronger network of prevention professionals. This group will meet on the first Friday of every month  from 9am-10:30am, each week being a different topic. We will spend 1.5 hours together, leaving the last 30 minutes to focus on group discussion. With that being said, 1 hour of CEUs will be offered in PS1: Personnel Supervision & Program Management as well as PS2: Administration & Consultation. 

In order to attend: 

• You must have your OCPS, OCPC, or CHES
• You must be currently providing prevention supervision, or plan to within the next 6 months

Description:

Strong teams don’t happen by accident; they’re built through connection, trust, and shared purpose. In this interactive training, prevention supervisors will experience fun, practical activities they can use to bring their teams closer together. Participants will explore the supervisor’s role in building trust, practice energizers and team-building games, and leave with a toolbox of strategies for creating a positive and collaborative team culture.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

1. Identify the role of supervisors in fostering team connection and trust.
2. Practice at least two engaging team-building activities that they can replicate with their own staff.
3. Apply strategies for using team-building to strengthen collaboration and problem-solving in prevention teams.
