Whether you are involved with direct services, coalition work, or community-wide prevention interventions, the SPF can be helpful in planning and organizing prevention strategies. Understanding how to implement the SPF can improve services as well as inform best practices in prevention. |
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Describe the five steps and two guiding principles of the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF).
- Apply the Strategic Prevention Framework by implementing its process in at least one prevention scenario.
- Identify one strategy for collaborating with partners using the Strategic Prevention Framework process.
