Grant Writing: Working with Partners and Collaborators in Your Grant Processes & Managing the Grant Post-Award (Morning)
Event Summary
VENUE: OCAM Virtual Training
Description: Many funders require collaborations with external organizational partners in their grants process and, therefore, this has become an increasingly essential component of writing successful grant proposals. Having these partnerships in place will strengthen your project’s approach, demonstrate to the funder their “bang for the buck,” and give you a serious competitive advantage! However, maintaining those partnerships can be hard work that must be finessed. This session will teach you how. Additionally, many people think that once they have won the grant, the hard work is over. That is FALSE! In fact, the work is just beginning. The post award phase comprises a significant amount of work over the duration of the award dates, which includes implementing the grant, reporting progress, and completing the closeout requirements. This session will guide you through the partnership process and post award steps to success. Come learn about these two important aspects of being a successful grants professional!
