Continuous Quality Improvement: Putting Quality at the Heart of Everything You Do! (Afternoon Course)

Venue: OCAM Virtual Training

Event Summary

Feb 12, 2024
1:00 pm - 4:15 pm
Venue
OCAM Virtual Training

Description: There is never a shortage of well-meaning leaders, public officials, funders, and community stakeholders who want to know: 1) if your prevention services/strategies are working, and 2) if their limited dollars are being spent wisely. Smart organizations understand the importance of having a focus on “quality” as a foundation of everything they do. This is accomplished by having a deliberate, defined, and sound continuous quality improvement (CQI) plan that focuses on your prevention activities, proves that you are being responsive to community needs, and that your services are having a positive preventative impact on the individuals and communities you serve. Having an effective CQI process in place also leads to ongoing professional development for prevention staff, improved satisfaction among program participants, and provides insights into how you can improve your capacity.

CEUS: Prevention, CHES
Hours: 3
Domains: PS1: Human Resources

Please note that this training is designed for individuals who already have their Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist credential and are looking to obtain their Ohio Certified Prevention Consultant credential.
