Description:

This training equips participants with practical strategies to apply the Collective Impact Framework to prevention partnerships that address behavioral health, substance misuse, and other community challenges. Participants will explore how to move from isolated efforts to aligned, cross-sector collaboration that achieves measurable outcomes. Through real-world examples, interactive discussions, and tools for shared measurement, backbone support, and continuous communication, attendees will leave with actionable ideas to strengthen partnerships and drive prevention success using Collective Impact principles.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explain the five core conditions of the Collective Impact Framework and their relevance to cross-sector prevention partnerships.
  • Identify strategies to build trust, shared purpose, and inclusive decision-making based on Collaborative Governance principles.
  • Apply practical tools and examples to design and strengthen collaborative prevention initiatives aligned with Collective Impact and SAMHSA’s Strategic Prevention Framework.
