William "Chip" Livisay

BA, LSW, OCPS

Chip Livisay is the owner of the W. Osborne Group. He is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist (OCPS). Chip has over thirty years of experience in human services. He has worked with the criminal justice system, educational system and has been an active leader in the substance use/misuse prevention and mental wellness fields. He was instrumental in the development of Ohio’s prevention credentialing process and was a trustee of the former Ohio Credentialing Board for Chemical Dependency Professionals (OCB) — serving two years as chair of the prevention committee. Chip is an alumnus of Otterbein College now Otterbein University and an inductee of the Otterbein College African American Hall of Fame. Additionally, he is a graduate of The Ohio State University, John Glenn School of Public Affairs, L2000+Leadership Academy. His areas of expertise include leadership development, multi-disciplinary/diverse partnership building, crisis management, conflict resolution, and substance use disorder assessment.
