Alcohol & Drug Prevention in Preschool Populations

The majority of prevention strategies tend to be focused on middle and high school students. Research has shown that the more upstream the prevention efforts are implemented, the more likely they are to be effective. In this workshop, we will learn about preschool youth and how to reach this young population through prevention interventions and programs. After this workshop, participants will better understand the unique approaches to prevention for preschoolers.
