Alcohol Course #1: Introduction to Alcohol Consumption & Prevention

Course Description:

During this one-hour course, participants will go over a basic introduction of what alcohol is as well as the history of alcohol consumption, legislation, regulation, and prevention. We will then go over alcohol consumption in the 21st century, the impact of alcohol advertising, as well as standard drink sizes. At the end of this training, participants will be able to explain alcohol trends, effective prevention strategies, define the difference between substance misuse, use, and dependence, as well as describe the effect alcohol has on the body.
