Derek Longmeier
MBA, OCPC, ICPS
Derek Longmeier has worked in the prevention field for over 20 years. He is professionally credentialed as both an Ohio Certified Prevention Consultant (OCPC) and an International Certified Prevention Specialist (ICPS). Derek is founder of The ATOD Prevention Group, a private training and consulting company focused on enhancing community change through education, community-based process, and environmental strategies. Through the ATOD Prevention Group, he serves as the Executive Director of the Problem Gambling Network of Ohio (PGNO). Derek is a member of the Ohio Problem Gambling Services Advisory Board and serves as chair of the Policy, Infrastructure and Gaming Industry committee. He is also a member of the OhioMHAS Prevention Round Table. Derek has Master of Business Administration from Ohio Dominican University, a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from The Ohio State University, and a Certificate in Social Enterprise from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. Derek is a master trainer for SAMHSA’s Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Training (SAPST) and a certified trainer for SAMHSA’s Prevention Ethics. He consults in the areas of coalition development and strategic planning.
